Hi, my name is Rahn.
By day, I’m the director of Data Engineering at Cura Revenue Cycle Management. There, I manage all of our data infrastructure as well as building internal sites and tools to keep our business going.
At night, I’m still the director of Data Engineering at Cura. It doesn’t change, but I do other things with my time. I do programming and computer stuff (naturally), as well as cooking, gardening, exercising, making dumb dad jokes, and playing with the family.
This site is a place online to talk about all of that. It’s a destination for our family adventures. It’s a litte piece of home.
Originally, I created the site back in 2008-ish as a place where I talked about running and doing things around the Southeast US. I used to do a lot of running, and this was a place for me to stay in touch with the community. Over the years, I slowly stopped writing about running, well, because life got busy and I got lazy.
It’s now August of 2019, and I’m trying to get back in the habit of doing these updates.
This blog is run through Github pages. It doesn’t have commenting in it, but I’ll probably add something in the near future.
It used to run on Wordpress, which I never had any problems with. I’d still use it, except that I felt as a developer, I should be using something more developer-like.
